Temperature-Controlled Transport

Ambient, refrigerated, and frozen payloads each carry different handling requirements and failure modes.

Match the method to the payload

Temperature control is not a single service. Ambient-controlled, 2–8°C refrigerated, and frozen payloads require different packaging systems, transit-time limits, and monitoring approaches.

The right question is not whether a provider has coolers, but whether the packaging configuration has been validated for the transit duration and ambient conditions of the route — particularly in Arizona and Texas summers.

Document the conditions

Where a product requires it, transit temperature documentation should accompany the delivery record so receiving teams can accept or quarantine on evidence rather than assumption.
